The Sparkman and Stephens 34 is one of the worlds most outstanding racing/ cruising yachts and this 1986 model is now for sale. Completed in Sydney by Maybrook Marine, she is an excellent example of these well respected yachts.
The Sparkman and Stephens 34 is very sea kindly due to its well-designed hull that also enables it to maintain a good speed under reduced sail, and to be driven at hull speed under a moderately powered engine. She also has the ability to sail close to the wind in heavy weather - important on a lee shore.
Below decks, a generous headroom of 6ft 2 inches, the interior, finished with well crafted teak makes her comfortable living for all aboard. Currently located at Newport.
Her current owner is a knowlegable yachtsman who has continually maintained her. A complete new mast and rig was installed in 2006. Standout presentation and attention to detail is evident. She is the best SS 34 that has become available for sale for some time.
