DESCRIPTION
First launched in 1983 to support Australia II in Alan Bond's successful America's Cup challenge, this historic vessel has traversed the world's oceans and proven itself a true offshore explorer.
Expertly constructed in Brisbane by Lloyd's Ships, to a Jack Hargrave design, this vessel is truly something special. In 2003, the vessel had a significant refit and extension, including the addition of a fully enclosed flybridge deck and wheelhouse, aft hull extension to include the sportfishing deck & swim platform, installation of new CAT 3412E main engines, and extensive upgrades to the engineering and electrical systems. In 2017, the vessel was refit & re-sprayed by then custodians and original builders, Lloyds Ships.
