Privilege 45 IDA, exclusively for sale with DBY Boat Sales.
Ida has just arrived into Sydney with her Danish owners after completing her adventure all the way from Europe. She is full imported into Australia and tax paid.
Fitted out accordingly to be able to enjoy this adventure, she is complete with all the equipment to ensure a safe and easy passage.
IDA is set up for short handed off grid sailing with everything led back to the cockpit.
This design is robust with no structural issues common with many of the later production designs.
Features of this model include good bridgedeck clearance and wide easy to board sterns. Size wise the hulls are high volume which enables good passage speed with little effort.
There are 4 large double cabins with 2 in the bridgedeck rather than being forward. This feature gives more comfort for guests with less pitching affect.
Her davit system hoists the dinghy well clear for passage.The generous cockpit can be fully enclosed for all weather living.
I was fortunate to do a short single handed leg on this boat and found her very easy to operate. Anchoring,sailing and manoevering on my own was no problem.
