Hauraki's owners have enjoyed considerable club racing success over the years, owning her since 2003. She comfortably sleeps up to six and offers an impressive amount of space below deck. The main cabin is roomy, featuring a dinette table, a well-equipped galley, and a generously sized navigation station. Storage is abundant throughout. The cockpit is impressively roomy, offering plenty of space for crew, family, and friends to relax and enjoy the sailing experience together.
There is a full wardrobe of 12 sails including storm sail and spinnaker. She is powered by a 2GM Yanmar diesel engine that's in good condition and has been regularly serviced by the current owner.
This well maintained Lotus 9.2 is roomy and comfortable enough to take family and friends away for a weekend or a week, yet fast enough to club race and twilight successfully around the buoys. A great combination at an affordable price!
Hauraki has spent the last 22 years in the sheltered anchorage of Woodford Bay in Lave Cove River. She has frequently sailed from Sydney Harbour up to Broken Bay, Brooklyn and Brisbane Water. Proving herself to be a very handy coastal cruiser sailing up to Lake Maquarie, Newcastle and Port Stephens. The very reliable tiller autohelm enables easy single handing for these short coastal hops.
Regularly slipped at Elvina Bay.
Hauraki is equipped with a full sail wardrobe. Lazy jacks on the main boom making single handed sailing much easier.
An excellent high holding power Rocna anchor coupled with a reliable Muir electric anchor winch.
Woodford Bay mooring is potentially transferable.
