DESCRIPTION

An outstanding example of the very sought-after Lagoon 421 in owner’s version, 3 cabin layout, 2010 model with super reliable Yanmar engines, low hours.

Exclusively for sale with DBY Boat Sales.

The long-term current owners have just returned from a blissful and trouble free 6 month cruise of Queensland’s coast line, returning recently to Brisbane.  Always privately owned and never been chartered.

Their continued upgrades and maintenance ensured them of a perfect and safe trip away.

This fine vessel will not disappoint the most fastidious of buyers, and buyers need to act fast. A haul out for antifoul is booked for early December so she will be in pristine condition below the waterline as well, in ready to sail away condition. An independent underwater hull survey will be done at the same time to avoid additional slip fees for the new owner.

Lithium batteries, reverse cycle air, Generator, fresh antifoul, electronics and rigging are just the beginning.

The Lagoon 421 model which was born as the improvement of the previous model, Lagoon 420. Lagoon 421 is one foot longer than her forerunner while some more improvements made it a completely new yacht. Bows are now vertical and transom skirts are much wider. Fixed bimini top extended living space from the saloon to the cockpit.

Skipper’s helm station is covered by a fixed bimini while the square top mainsail is cut in a manner to hoist the boom so there are no troubles with it colliding with skipper’s bimini while sailing. Since the boom is the hoisted well above the hardtop, it can be used as a sunbathing area.

The cockpit can be turned either into the dining area or lounge because it is equipped with a changeable table. The light is again the keyword for interior design since there are large vertical windows in the saloon as well as large sunlight windows in the cabins.

Natural ventilation of all interior spaces is provided by large and convenient opening hatches.

Wide sidedecks, as well as the aft deck, provide easy and safe walking all around this cat. Completely enclosed when required via breezeway roll down screens/shades, this is a very pleasant entertaining area and superbly protected from the elements.

The bridgedeck is gullwing-shaped which brings additional comfort when sailing on the waves. The rigging has been replaced in 2019 and continued upgrades to the running rigging. All sails are in outstanding condition, including an almost new (2021) Code zero on a torsion line with furler.

2022 new light clears, mesh, canvas combination.

Brig centre console tender, with electric start, tilt and trim with Honda 20hp outboard.
