1980’s Crowther 40 Mighty Manfred now for sale exclusively with DBY Boat Sales.
With GRP construction this boat is a modified Crowther 10 which was a popular design in mid to late 1980s. I was lucky enough to have owned one and sailed her to San Francisco from Sydney so can vouch for the construction and design.
With centreboards she sails beautifully, so passage times are significantly less than most other cruising Catamarans. Great for exploring shallow waterways and can be beached.
Quite basic in fitout, and ready to put your own touches to make her a real offshore cruiser.
Powered by late model twin outboards she is low cost to maintain.
Inside the bridgedeck, she features 2 massive queen size berths, good lounge and navigation areas.
Her galley is set up to be run on the port side downstairs with bathroom and head forward on the starboard side.
Incredible value for money for those wanting a GRP multihull of this size on a budget.
