Built in 1980 by Cavalier Yachts Australia to a Laurie Davidson design, COOL CHANGE is a straightforward, well-proven yacht offered at an entry-level price. The Cavalier 28 has long been a favourite among Australian sailors for its blend of practical family cruising and solid club racing performance.
Below decks, the layout is simple and functional: one cabin with three berths, an open-plan living area with a dining table, a single sink, a stove and onboard refrigeration and a hand-pump marine toilet. The sail inventory, three jibs, two spinnakers and one mainsail which was purchased new in 2022. The vessel also comes with a dinghy fitted with a 2.3hp outboard, four dock lines, a boat hook, spinnaker pole and three fenders.
