DESCRIPTION

1991 Bayliner 2655 now for sale with DBY Boat Sales.

Bayliner power boats are amongst the finest built craft to have come from USA. This 1991 model Bayliner 2655 sports cruiser has only had 2 owners and was completely refurbished in 2015 at a cost of over $40,000.

The brand new Mercruiser 5.0 MPi Alpha was installed in 2015 and has done a very low 120 hours since then. All gauges were also renewed into a very nice-looking dash area that the helmsmen can monitor everything very easily. Fuel, oil pressure, temp, trim, voltage.

At the time of install the engine bay was completely re flow coated, new bilge pump, new hydraulic steering cables and pump, new snap in carpets throughout the outside areas, new navy blue canvas including the full camping enclosure with roll up breeze away sections as well as clears to all sides and the rear, new Fusion bluetooth sound system with 4 speakers.

A Lowrance Elite 5 GPS plotter and Chirp fishfinder with depth mounts neatly to the side of the dash.

The clears have just been replaced in 2019 as have the 2 house and 1 engine start batteries with isolating switch.

There is a 2019 Muir electric 2-way anchor winch controlled from the helm and a G Com VHF radio with microphone controls. There is nothing to spend on this well-maintained family sportscruiser.

The queen size mattress under the cockpit floor section is brand new and very roomy for a 27 ft power boat. It has 2 opening portlight windows and a large opening hatch facing aft for excellent ventilation.

The V berth has seating area for up to 6 and a modular table that can relocate to 3 positions or forms a base for an additional double bed area in the bow. There is a large opening hatch above for light and air flow.

Pressurised 80litres of fresh water is at the sink, enclosed shower stall and also on the swim platform for external rinse off after swimming. There is a large swim platform at the transom that is ideal to swim from, a clever concealed stainless-steel swim ladder is retracted underneath. There is also a sturdy stainless-steel rail that has provision to hold an outboard, tender or mount a BBQ.

Wired for solar power with regulator, no panel. 12v Engel fridge, Dual fuel 2 burner cooktop, USB ports and 12v cigarette charging for phones and toys, 80 litres of fresh water, single sink in the galley.

On a recent delivery trip from Forster to Pittwater, the engine performed flawlessly as did the entire boat.  Adjusting the trim tabs had the boat planing and super stable at 20 knots with an estimated fuel burn of around 20-25 litres per hour. Taking only 6 hours from Forster to Pittwater is pretty impressive for a 27 ft sports cruiser. This boat is in top condition and is ready for summer fun immediately.
