'Sonja' is a 2004 Bavaria 41, now exclusively for sale with YOTI in Manly, Queensland.

The Bavaria 41, built in Germany and designed by J & J Yacht design, has a long waterline length, a good size rig and keel, making her ideally suited for long-range and coastal cruising without compromising the great internal space for comfortable living.

On deck, her cockpit is deep and spacious with a centrally mounted steering wheel, a large protective sprayhood and a superb bimini, with sunscreen mesh to the side and stern to completely shade the aft cockpit area without compromising visibility. All halyard and control lines are led aft to coachroof winches, and the overlapping furling headsail is led back to the coaming winches. The mainsail's single-line reefing is also controlled from the cockpit.

A Lowrance plotter with an AIS Transceiver is fitted at the helm, as are the Raymarine wind, depth, speed and autopilot. The VHF is mounted at the chart table. The electric anchor windlass can be controlled from the helm or on deck. There are davits for the dinghy.

Sonja has the versatile three-cabin layout, giving great flexibility for both accommodation and storage while having generous cockpit lockers. The main saloon is finished in mahogany with plenty of light and air from hatches and windows. The cabin berths are a genuine double with good headroom and storage. The owner's cabin forward is a generous size with en-suite heads and a manual toilet. The second head is aft on the port side with an electric toilet and shower. The main saloon has a linear galley to port with plenty of storage and two fridges, with the saloon table to starboard. The bench seat adjacent to the galley features a gas strut opening top to reveal a "pantry" for food stowage.

Sonja is in good condition, both above and below decks. Standing rigging was renewed in 2019, and running rigging is in good condition. She is powered by a 55hp Volvo with a 3-blade folding propeller. Six 190ah AGM batteries (2020) are charged by engine, shore power, wind generator and solar panels.
