DESCRIPTION
'Kings Cross' is a favorite amongst Australian 5.5m owners, well known for her performance and competitiveness, especially in light winds.
She was designed by Ben Lexon and built by the Beashall family at their Elvina Bay Yard for the 1968 Olympics.
This beautifully balanced yacht can easily be raced two handed in twilight racing, and is an absolute joy to helm and campaign.
Recently she finished 2nd in PHS at the world championships here in Sydney and 3rd overall in the classics division.
In preparation for the worlds, all of the running and standing rigging was replaced in 2019.
The boat comes ready to sail with 2 jibs, (One new), 2 mainsails and 3 Spinnakers.
