DESCRIPTION

Rainbow's Shadow is a serious off shore sailboat with her capability to cruise to far off places. Built in 1992 with an interior that shows quality and pride with wood joinery that is classy and functional for a vessel of its age. This cutter rigged sloop is a proven cruiser built and equipped for ocean sailing with her classic canoe stern paired with a full keel and water tight bulkheads. Comprising of some great unique features, Rainbow's Shadow is a serious off shore sailboat with her capability to cruise to far off places. Built in 1992 with an interior that shows quality and pride with wood joinery that is classy and functional for a vessel of its age. Below deck, includes a well laid out galley with twin deep s/s sinks, a new Force 10 stove/oven, large fridge and freezer compartments and 60L of drinking water along with 440L of additional water across 2 tanks that is transferable for ballast. The galley is positioned port side with ease of access to the cockpit and open saloon area. Several opening porthole windows and hatches in the saloon provides plenty of light and ventilation. To starboard runs cabinetry encompassing the navigation station the fridge/freezer and additional galley top space. Aft of the Fridge /Freezer is a well functioning head inclusive of a holding tank. There is a generous shower/bath area heated by a new 25lt Kuuma hot water system. Further aft the companionway stairs open to reveal port and starboard pilot berths below the cockpit. Forward is a spacious main cabin with a double Pullman berth to port, a settee that can be converted to a child's bunk and ample lockers for storage. The engine room is easily accessible below the saloon floor and the Perkins 4108 has been completely reconditioned in 2021 and only clocked 6 hours. A new paint job and fresh antifoul in 2021, Standing Rigging also new 2021 and includes a roller furling jib and staysail, and decorative custom made chain-plates. There are Lewmar self tailing winches, mainsheet traveller and lifelines ready for any adventure.
