DESCRIPTION

The 340 Sundancer is an Incredibly well-built boat that put Sea Ray firmly on the boat builder map in the late 1980's. Due to her large beam design and 'build to last' mind-set (back when production margins weren't so tight!) 'Chances' offers a very comfortable ride and a spacious layout throughout. The exterior features a large cockpit with a raised 3-seat helm station and a deep 3-person lounge on the Aft. This area can be fully enclosed courtesy of the full set of storm covers and clears. The swim platform is accessed via a PORT transom door. The large interior offers great headroom throughout and would comfortably accommodate an extended family trip out on the water. As you step down into the open-plan saloon the U-shaped galley is located on the STRB side with the enclosed facilities to the Aft. Located on PORT is a fridge/freezer and lounge. The V-Berth and Aft-Cabin can both be separated by curtains for extra privacy. The engine bay is equipped with twin Mercruiser 7.4l velvet V-Drive engines. These are things that the current owner has done since ownership of the boat. 2018 Stb gearbox reconditioned 2 new shafts and props and water cooled glands 2019 Steering changed to hydraulic Sbd motor exhaust and risers changed to 1 piece stainless Rudder bearings changed New helm and passenger seats Downstairs floor replaced with q cell composite Mattresses replaced (there is a spare mattress that was cut worn on the v berth) 2 Victron charges Inverter installed All battery cables replaced 2020 New risers on port engine Both carbs sent away and services All hose clamps replaced Nav lights and interior lights changed to led Switch panels changed to blue seas All safety rails rebedded All mooring cleats removed drilled out to larger size bolt, rebedded and backing plate fitted New oil and transmission cooler on port motor New alternator port New starter motor sbd Mains pressure water system installed Jabsco gulper style shower bilge pump installed 2022 Both engines full strip down of raw and fresh cooling systems, cleaned, impellers replaced and new housing on port motor New distributor stb motor New flooring in cockpit Duckboard painted (in progress) Anchor solenoid replaced (in progress) Some New clips for covers (in progress) New top of stb wet exhaust being made to replace cracked one (temp one in place Port fuel tank replaced New alternator std New jabsco quiet flush toilet New freshwater pump Other notes Start motors have dedicated Solar panel with both banks having a vsra d charger Additional water Tank on stb that could be converted to black water tank Motors have Rochester 4 barrel carbs. They have a hinge secondary and small primary. Once it is in the plane (15-18) knots you can back off so just the primary's are feeding fuel. You will keep 15 knots on 2-2.500 revs and it is quiet economical. Both engines have regular servicing and all fluids including gear boxes were changed in the last 20 hours running time Both motor have been tuned with 11" advance at idle and 31 at 2500 revs. Bit more advanced than stock but they run cooler and have more grunt down low to get her on the plane. Currently has full water and a bottom that needs to be dived on I would get a smaller fridge under bench and change seating inside to a full length lounge or dinette Cockpit seating would work better if it was wrapped around on stb Overall, 'Chances' offers a lot of boat for the money and presents a great opportunity to get out on the water in comfort.
