DESCRIPTION

A bespoke performance offshore cruising yacht designed by Stephen Jones with a long fin keel and deep canoe body for comfort at sea. Built using hand-laid GRP to Lloyds specifications with exquisite European Oak interior finish and joinery in the traditional manner. This is a yacht for that discerning owner who appreciates the very best detail in a yacht that is manageable and yet roomy.

Internationally renowned-Rustler Yachts have been built in Cornwall in the UK for 30 years using high quality materials and a combination of traditional skills and cutting edge technology. They are one of the few remaining yacht builders using these methods of construction anywhere in the World.

“Reprieve” was launched in the UK in August 2017 in the UK from where it cruised the Mediteranean for a season before being shipped to Australia, and has a comprehensive list of factory and factory fitted options.

With the navy-blue hull and teak decks with varnished cappings this is a yacht that turns heads. It's a surprisingly roomy and spacious 37 footer that will appeal to the true yachtie that is looking for a sea-kindly luxury yacht that will cruise in comfort.

Construction is hand-laid glass with all of the 18mm bulkheads and furniture glassed to the hull for strategic stiffening. The keel is single piece lead cast that is lowered into the hull/keel moulding, while the hull to deck join is glassed and bolted. There is a bosuns locker aft of the anchor locker with a watertight bulkhead between it and the interior accommodation There are three cockpit lockers, the centre one being a gas locker.

There are eight opening ports and six custom aluminium framed coachroof windows, stanchions are 620mm high for safety at sea, and the steering is jefa rack and pinion.

The mast is a Seldon alloy with fitted spinnaker pole track and MDS roller car system and includes fore and aft lowers, and a gas rod vang. Sails are touring Polyester with a 3-reef mainsail and headsail with Furlex furler. There is also an unused #4 headsail that fits onto the inner forestay, and a once used Assymetric spinnaker.

Down below the saloon features a U-shaped dinette to port with a lee-cloth so that the port side seat can be used as a sea berth, and to starboard is a lounge seat and full-sized forward-facing nav’ station. There is a trotter box forward of the seat so that this can also be used as a sea berth.

The large wrap-around galley has lots of good stowage and even comes with custom crockery fitted by the factory for galley storage. There is one big deep stainless sink and an adjacent smaller one, good counter space and a top loading fridge.

There is a remarkably generous owners cabin forward with a hanging locker to port and lots of other storage throughout. The guest cabin is aft to starboard, with the head and shower immediately forward of it.

In terms of electrics the yacht has all AGM batteries with an engine start and 2 x 200A house batteries, twin solar, a Watt & Sea Hydro generator and shore-power/battery charger. it also has a boosted alternator and Mastervolt battery monitor.

Instrumentation is Raymarine with three i70 displays, twin E Series plotters,  EV400 Linear drive autopilot, 4Kw Radar, AIS, VHF with Command Mic', HF radio and Huawei 4G WiFi.

Safety equipment is to Cat' 3 and includes a 4-man life-raft that was serviced in 2020.

Suffice to say that the detail throughout is outstanding, with not only superb craftsmanship, but also the use of only the very best quality components.

This is a yacht that must be seen to be fully appreciated, so please contact PBS to make an appointment to view.
