DESCRIPTION
The Sun Odyssey is a big little yacht that belies its hull length by providing an extremely comfortable and well protected cockpit, along with an interior layout that just works perfectly, and has a surprisingly roomy Queen-sized owners cabin!
This example is a 2-owner yacht that was antifouled in Nov' 24, all new standing and running rigging March 2025, has recent canvas, a practically new headsail, and is equipped with a wheel pilot, solar, wind generator, invertor, microwave, and much more.
With bench seats in the saloon, it could feasibly sleep six, but has a two-cabin layout, both of them surprisingly spacious, a centreline saloon table, L-shaped galley, aft facing nav’ table and a large enclosed head. Under the nav’ seat there is a microwave.
The cockpit has a full set of fitted cockpit cushions, a wheel pedestal with the instruments and a Garmin plotter mounted, Hot & cold transom shower, a kettle style BBQ, and twin solar panels as well as a wind generator. The battery capacity is generous with 300A in the house bank. The canvas has been renewed quite recently and includes a spray dodger, Bimini, awning forward from the Bimini, and cockpit table cover.
The SO33i is a superb sailing yacht that handles beautifully and has a great turn of speed, is stable and Category A rated for ocean sailing. This yacht has a near new furling genoa, a conventional mainsail in a boom-bag with lazy-jacks, and there is also a symmetric spinnaker.
