DESCRIPTION
Pegiva Boats are a specialist boutique boat-building company based on the Gold Coast in Australia. Pegiva creates unique retro boats that look traditional and custom built, yet constructed using the latest technology and the very best in materials. Design elements from Europe and South America make this Lake Como Style cruiser, a very sleek one-of-a-kind boating experience. Billy Joel even had a Retro Sun made for him upon their first release and spoke very highly of it.
The Retro Sun is constructed using fiberglass composite materials for the hull and superstructure, and with the addition of Brazilian Mahogany inlaid decks and features, adding a rich nostalgic look that will take you back to the 1950s and ’60s, when boating was more about character and styling. To really add to the nostalgic looks, the Retro Sun also comes with a classy flush-fitting convertible roof that folds down out of sight in a matter of seconds.
This incredible handmade Pegiva Retro Sun cruiser is a credit to the boating world. Designed and built on the Gold Coast this vessel is equipped with a single 250hp Steyr 256 straight-six turbo diesel, providing smooth and responsive power capable of 40 knots and a cruising speed between 20-25knots. Fitted with a Bravo one sterndrive leg the vessel responds swiftly to your every move.
The sun pad can easily accommodate a couple and all the seating, including the aft lounge for three, and the two helm seats is covered in smart Italian-made upholstery. The boat also has 60 liters of fresh water for the deck shower, a teak floor, and a table that's stowed away when you're cruising. Ample storage, a champagne cooler, a bow thruster, and a stainless steel anchor top off the sheer elegance of this modern-day timber-style (speed) cruiser.
