2005 Sea Ray 270 SLX – Repowered & Extensively Upgraded

Presenting this 2005 Sea Ray 270 SLX, a spacious and well-equipped premium bowrider that has benefited from significant mechanical upgrades, including a complete repower in 2023 with a new-generation MerCruiser 6.2L 350HP engine paired with a new Bravo III sterndrive. The repower also included a new transom shield, controls, cables, batteries and associated components, providing a substantially updated propulsion package.

Since the repower, the engine and drive have been regularly maintained, with servicing including engine and gear oil changes, oil and fuel filters, anodes, bellows, spark plugs, steering and drive inspections, cooling-system maintenance and other preventative servicing.

The 270 SLX offers an exceptionally spacious open-bow and cockpit layout, featuring wrap-around upholstered seating, twin aft sun lounges, a removable cockpit table with integrated cup holders, wet bar with sink, stainless-steel grab rails, walk-through windscreen and generous storage throughout. A standout feature is the stainless-steel targa arch with integrated bimini, providing excellent shade across the cockpit while complementing the Sea Ray’s sporty styling.

Despite its open bowrider configuration, the vessel provides excellent amenities for longer days on the water, including a brand-new VacuFlush toilet and practical onboard entertaining facilities.

Electronics and electrical equipment include a Simrad GPS navigation system with integrated chartplotter and depth sounder, electric trim tabs, navigation lights, anchor light, docking lights, cockpit lighting, bilge pump, bilge blower and electric engine hatch.

Entertainment is provided by a Fusion marine sound system, comprising a Fusion head unit, Fusion speakers and subwoofer.
