DESCRIPTION
The Sun Fast 37 is one of those rare yachts that is both an excellent cruiser and potent racing yacht at any level. It shares exactly the same interior as the Sun Odyssey 37, which is renowned for its sea-keeping ability, but has a deeper lead keel and taller keel stepped mast.
For a yacht of its era both the cockpit and down below are quite brilliant. The interior layout is one of the best of all time for a yacht of this size. It just uses its space extremely well with no compromise to any aspect of interior.
This one is the popular three cabin and all three are generous. It has a proper forward facing nav’ station which is fully equipped for just that, a roomy galley, and the saloon will comfortably entertain six adults.
From a racing point of view the Dyform standing rigging was replaced in 2013, all the running rigging is Dyneema and all in excellent condition, there is a suite of Carbon sails including 2019 2-reef mainsail, it's Cat' 4 certified, and instrumentation includes three plotters.
For cruising comfort there are flexible solar panels, a spray-dodger, 70W invertor, Magma BBQ and a set of unused fitted bedding by “Sheets Ahoy”.
This is a fine well maintained yacht that will delight with its performance, as it’s won many many trophies over the years. It’s a one owner boat that’s been much loved and enjoyed. It’s reluctantly time to sell due to changed circumstances and will be enjoyed for many years to come by the next lucky owner.
