Oceangoing Long range timber Cruiser with Carvel hull, fitted for long range travel, with large fuel and water capacity. Originally built & launched in 1999,by Mickey Steger. She was unfinished, the fit-out done by Laurie Jenkyns(marine architect & shipwright)completed in 2008. Great stability/seakeeping with 3.5 tonnes of lead ballast. Luxurious fit out & plenty of storage.
As you walk in the port-side door you step into the Captains Lounge & Helm. Looking aft you have a wonderful space encompassing the U shaped galley, then the oval dining table and finally the saloon seating with its back drop of windows dressed in Versace curtains with matching lamps. Walk around side deck and an aft cockpit as well as Portuguese Bridge surround this level of accommodation which is fitted out in solid blue gum. There is a steep staircase just forward of the saloon going to the children’s twin bunk cabin which has a toilet and lockers storing the washer and dryer.
Access to the 2 main en-suite cabins is down a staircase off the Captains lounge. Forward into the Guest Cabin with an Island Queen Berth, chez longue and bedside cabinets. Aft into the Master Cabin with an island Super King Berth with side cabinets and lamps. There is a door aft into the enormous engine bay which has fantastic space around the engine and loads of head room.
