Reduced to sell! A much loved true cruiser-racer that sports a brand new mast, standing and running rigging as well as a new mainsail. An affordable family yacht that can be everything that you want it to be for spending holidays on-board, to weekly twilight and club racing.
“Magic” has a comfortable two-cabin interior with saloon seating long enough to be used as additional berths, has a good package of instruments, and an excellent sail inventory which includes 5 headsails, three of which are Mylar/Pentax and three of which were new in 2017, plus two spinnakers.
Mechanically the Volvo runs well and has clearly been well maintained and a new Volvo dripless stern gland was fitted late in 2015, and the sealed batteries were renewed in mid-2018 and are in-part recharged with a trickle-charge solar panel.
As a precaution given the age of the yacht all of the keel bolts have just been replaced, as have three of the through hull valves which were showing signs of wear, so the yacht is very much ready for many more years of fun.
