European rigid inflatable boat (RIB) and tender brand Grand Boats. Made quite the splash at this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. Marking a big step forward in its journey down under and highlighting its rapid growth in the Australian market.
With 12 models on display, Grand Boats turned plenty of heads with their trademark mix of European craftsmanship. Smart design, and cutting-edge hull technology. Over four sun-drenched days, the team welcomed strong interest and celebrated a solid run of sales.
“Our debut at SCIBS went above and beyond our expectations,” said Dan Arscott, Managing Director of Grand Boats Australia. “From day one, feedback on our range was outstanding—people praised the design, layout, and, above all, the build quality that sets Grand apart.”
The team saw strong results across the board, including tenders, midsize RIBs, and even their top-end G750 and G850 models. “We had a great mix of first-time Grand buyers and returning owners who were ready to upgrade,” Dan added. “It’s always rewarding hearing what owners love about their boats – and what keeps them coming back for more.”
Standouts included the G850, with its roomy layout, sleek design, and punchy twin-engine performance, and the G680, which caught plenty of attention for its modern styling and generous features. The tender line-up was also a hit, especially the G340 and S470, both of which drew strong interest and secured multiple sales.
Following the show, momentum hasn’t slowed — with more sales confirmed and a string of sea trials already booked. One enthusiastic visitor even called Grand Boats “the highlight of the show.”
Grand Boats Australia made its boat show debut after launching locally in July 2024. Dan and Carly Arscott, who led the brand in the UK for a decade, now head the factory-backed Australian operation.
“We’re stoked with the response so far — not just at the show, but across the country,” Dan said. “It’s been a brilliant first year, and we’re really looking forward to what’s next.”
Next up: Grand Boats will be heading to the 2025 Sydney Boat Show, taking place at Sydney Showground from 14–17 August 2025.
