Mercury Marine outboards continue to add to their race-bred reputation, by out-performing the competition at the 2011 Australian World Selection Races 3 & 4 on Botany Bay.

Lapping up the extremely rough conditions, Mercury OptiMax 300XS engines took all three podium places in the F2 Mens and F2 Womens categories for both events.

To round out a fantastic weekend, the racing debut of Thundernuts, the new Velocity V7 powered by a Mercury Racing 700 Sci sterndrive, went very well with a win in the Junior Boys on Day 1.
