Xtreme Wakeboarding action
The long awaited Chaparral range of Xtreme crossover ski-wake boats has hit Australia. The all new designs that boast 10 good reasons for being better than traditional inboard shaft drive ski boats definitely have plenty of sex appeal and have already seen excited owners rave about their performance and user friendliness.
The new boats owner ; Brad Nicholson from Sydney says, “we researched every possible option and in the end features such as walk through transom, the safety and features of a stern drive including reversing, shallow draft & auto kick up on submerged obstacles and being able to play in salt water made us go for the Chaparral 204 Xtreme” “We want to ski on the lakes and rivers but also love cruising the harbor, the other ski boats just can’t do everything that the Chaparral can do for us and we don’t always want to drive for hours to go boating in fresh water.”
The Xtreme range features Chaparrals new wide tech designs for greater cockpit and bow space, integrated swim platform and serious ski-wake features, such as wake tower, swiveling racks, ballast tank, perfect pass, premium sound system, tower lights, ski mirror and massive gear storage.
Chaparrals national importer “Aussie Boat Sales” have developed a range of premium Easy Tow trailers to complement the unique graphics and colors on offer and also offer a budget U.S aluminum trailer built to Aussie specs. “We are keen to show ski-wake boat buyers that they can have their cake and eat it too”, says Scott O’Hare from ABS, “these boats are the ultimate family boat and totally appropriate in practically every situation. Salt water tough, excellent handling, great looks, smart design and reasonably priced.”
“Chaparral has been building quality boats since 1965, have won dozens of awards and have a solid reputation worldwide for innovation, performance and build quality. There is now an experienced dealer network with representation in every state and excellent factory support. With a great line up of new models and current strong Aussie dollar we expect this brand to do big things in Australia”.
