Andrew Short Marine Services Pty Ltd now lays claim to exhibiting the largest undercover boating display in Australia.

Our Taren Point address is also Australia's largest "Mariner/Mercury" outboard dealership, the world's premier brand name.

The Andrew Short Marine business had its beginnings as a boat dealership back in 1984, then a Mariner dealer, and now as a new boat dealer.

Our original Taren Point address was also the site where Andrew's father Fred, produced the sea-aluminum boat range, now owned by Brooker Marine products but still under the "Sea-al" name, along with the other aluminum boat brands of Horizon, Bermuda, Savage Tropical and Trail craft.

Brooker is also the major brand of boat Trailers we sell.

Progress and expansion over the years has not only seen us move to larger premises but many boat manufactures have approached us to market their ranges. These include the fiberglass names of Savage, Seafearer, Haines Traveler, Steber and Blackwatch.

The jewel in the crown of boats however is the "Sea-Ray", which is imported from the USA, from a Mercury Mariner owned company and considered the best built boat in the world. They range from 18 foot to 68 foot Motor Cruisers.

To round out our product range we market the Boston Whaler, Stacer aluminium range, Quicksilver inflatables and Hobie Kayaks, a large range of accessories/chandlery items and we have a fully qualified workshop to service and install outboards and Mercruiser motors.

Andrew Short Services Pty Ltd has now expanded it's business to include Yowie Bay Marina at No.1 Wonga Road on the waters edge at Yowie Bay, Fergusons Boatshed Marina, The Spit Mosman and soon to be Birkenhead Point Marina.

This acquisition seemed a natural progression for our fast growing Marine dealership to facilitate the berthing of our Sea-Ray range of boats, which extend up to 60feet in length, a range built in the USA with the reputation of being the "best built boat in the world".

Additional to sales at Yowie Bay Marina, the facility includes a recently upgraded slipway for vessels up to 60foot, which allow us to slip customer's boats for hull and mechanical repairs. Along with the newly rebuilt floating marina which allows us to rent berth to owners, comes a number of commercial moorings in Yowie Bay which can also be rented.

Ferguson’s Boatshed Marina located at The Spit, Mosman offers an opportunity for customers to view and experience first hand the impressive Sea Ray Sports Yacht & Yacht range from 36 foot and above including the recently released Sea Ray 60 Sundancer. Also available now for the first time in Australia is the brand new Sea Ray 55 Sundancer one of the most exciting and innovative motor yachts available today. Ferguson’s Boatshed Marina operates a travel lift and slipway services for boats up to 30 tonne, marina berths, moorings and a licensed restaurant right on the shores of Middle Harbour. The Plonk! Beach Café offers patrons fine dining in a unique setting.
