Built by Sydney Yachts in 2006,'Impetuous Too' is a Sydney 36CR now listed exclusively for sale with YOTI, Sydney.
This Murray Burns and Dovell design is highly regarded as one of the best models to come out of the Sydney Yachts factory.
Successfully raced from the RSYS in Sydney, Impetuous Too was specified as a new boat and campaigned by a well-known Sydney yachtsman.
As she moved from an IRC yacht to a more relaxed twilight cruiser/racer, several clever adaptations were added from 2021 onwards. Her starboard mainsheet winch was electrified and can be used for mainsheet control or as a maneuvering winch for halyards. She was fitted with Harken furler and a battened Norths Norlam furler was fitted. A CHPS Aramid Mainsail was fitted in 2023 and a Lazyjack bag was also added to the inventory.
She has an IRC carbon spinnaker pole, a carbon bow prodder, and an aluminium whisker pole, allowing her to run both symmetrical and an asymmetrical setup.
Specified new with a Yanmar diesel and 2-blade Gori prop serviced, she is a fabulous crossover opportunity with the ability to cruise comfortably or race competitively in an IRC fleet.
