1987 Miura 31 now for sale with DBY Boat Sales.

Miura 31 yachts are amongst the finest vessels to have been built in South Africa.

They are well known for strength, sea kindly manners and many circumnavigations. They also make a fine twilight racer or family coastal cruiser.

This 1987 model is highly maintained and comes with numerous recent upgrades.

The Kubota 22hp diesel shaft driven engine was installed in 2016 and has around 600 hours on the meter, presenting like new and recently serviced.

The standing and running rigging were replaced in 2018 and the steaming light, mast head light and VHF aerial were renewed then also, plus she comes with a comprehensive sail wardrobe.

2 house batteries were replaced in 2022 and the crank battery was replaced in 2023. The 120 watt solar panel is 2018 as is the autopilot, 12v fridge and 12v freezer.

A new Fusion bluetooth sound system with cockpit speakers pumps out the tunes whilst you are well protected by the large bimini and spray dodger.

The fully battened main which drops nicely into a boom bag with lazy jacks is easy to use and the brand new furlex furler makes the Genoa a pleasure to roll out also. This is simple sailing at it's best. There is an as new spinnaker with pole and a # 3 jib also amongst the sail wardrobe.

The champagne seats on the pushpit are strong and set up for easy helming with a grand view whilst the auto tiller keeps the yacht on course.

There is a 2.4m inflatable tender and 2.5hp electric outboard for trips to shore.

The current owner has spared no expense at keeping this fine yacht in such good overall condition. Antifouled recently, she is ready for summer.
