'Alouette' is a one owner 2011 Beneteau First 35 that is now listed exclusively for sale with YOTI Sydney Harbour.
This little sister to the highly successful First 40 by Farr Yacht design, the First 35 is proof that you can design a boat with beautiful lines that not only performs well on the racetrack but provides an incredibly comfortable platform for those weekends away - all in a more compact package.
The First 35 was specifically designed to compete well, racing under IRC rules. With a large, non-overlapping headsail rig and a "T" keel for high stability, the First 35 can be configured to compete as the perfect fully crewed club racer or for the more adventurous on the shorthanded scene.
Alouette has an efficient, modern interior layout with a central saloon, galley to port, navigation station to starboard, V-berths forward and one double berth stateroom aft to port, single head and shower aft to starboard, and well apportioned locker space.
Her standing rigging was replaced in 2022, and she received a new Doyle mainsail and J2 headsail in the same year. She also comes with J1 and J3 headsails along with 3 x S1 masthead spinnakers and an S2 fractional spinnaker.
All batteries have been replaced this year and she was antifouled in July.
