FURUNO - delivering technology beyond your expectations

Distributed in Australia by JN Taylor, Furuno is once again setting the benchmark for innovation in integrated marine electronics, with the introduction of NavNet TZtouch, the industry’s first Multi-Touch MFD. TZtouch brings you pinch-to-zoom capability, two-finger course rotation and other multi- and single-touch gestures for the most intuitive user-interface on the market today. Furuno has also incorporated its intuitive RotoKeyTM rotary knob, which allows you to make adjustments, such as range and gain, or make menu selections, using either the touch screen or the RotoKeyTM.

You can choose from a 9-inch WVGA or 14.1-inch WXGA multi-touch display depending on your vessel size and need. From there, you can add a variety of components to round out your package, all of Furuno’s award-winning network components work with NavNet TZtouch.

On the leisure end of the market Furuno will be releasing a basket full of goodies. The lineup includes the new FCV-627 and FCV-587 Fish Finders which supersede the very successful FCV-620 and FCV-585 units, there will also be two new Chart Plotters/Fish Finder combo units to choose from, the GP-1670/F and the GP-1870/F. The new range of Fish Finders will come complete with FDF (Furuno Digital Filter), ACCU-FISH (identifies fish size & depth) and BDS (Bottom Discrimination Sounder), BDS helps identify bottom structure such as sand, mud, gravel or rocks under your boat.
