From the good old trusty tent to the luxury campervan, the National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo has it covered.
The latest in luxury, convenience and commonsense will all be showcased in an extensive range of the latest in tents and campervans as part of the National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo at Brisbane’s RNA Showgrounds this weekend.
Co-located with the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show, the National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo will feature the latest camping, touring and towing equipment which is available to off road adventurers.
Mark Petersen from the National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo said there is no greater luxury for a four wheel drive enthusiast than to escape the city boundaries for a spot of camping.
“There are so many places you can visit when you are camping in a tent or a camper trailer and no matter what your requirements there is something out there for you at the National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo this weekend,” Petersen said.
“Traditionally, setting up tents is seen as a chore which can take hours, however Oz tent have created a 30 second tent which will be on display at the show,” Petersen said.
“On top of this Autohome will be displaying their range of roof top campers which are fixed to the back of a car and therefore perfect in wet weather and muddy conditions as they elevate you off the ground. The company will also be displaying their extra long camper which at 2.3 metres accommodates the taller person.
“And of course there will be a wide array of camper trailers at the event which are perfect for the young family with a couple of kids looking to hit the beach each weekend or the retired couple about to embark on a trip across Australia.”
The National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo commences at 9am on Friday March 20, 2009 with other attractions at the event including an Outback Arena featuring native animal demonstrations, camp oven cooking lessons and tips for your next off road adventure.
There is also an Off Road Spectacular which will include adrenalin pumping off road racing buggies, rock climbing vehicles and for the first time ever mini bike freestyle motocross demonstrations.
Tickets to both the National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo and Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show are available at the gate or online at www.4x4show.com.au or www.tinnieandtackle.com.au. Adults receive entry into both shows for the low cost of $10 with kids under 15 free.
