Boaters in Sydney’s southern suburbs will welcome the appointment of the newest authorised Yamaha Outboards dealer, JD’s Boatshed. Located to the south of Botany Bay at Caringbah, JD’s Boatshed was established in 2004 but has already carved out an enviable reputation with boaters.

Dennis Souvleris enjoyed a passion for boating, so he entered the marine business with JD’s Boatshed. From day one, the business was based on product quality and business integrity. Today the same qualities underscore the business, with Dennis recently passing on the management role to his sons, James & Daniel.

“We sought out the Yamaha outboards dealership because we wanted to offer our customers a complete range of quality engines,” said James Souvleris.

“Previously we felt hampered by not having four stroke outboards for our customers. So we have now moved to be an exclusive Yamaha dealer presenting to our customers 2-stroke, 4-stroke and Yamaha’s HPDI low emission technology.”

“Our customers have the ultimate engine choice for their boats, and that’s just the way we want it.”

JD’s Boatshed is also proud to stock and sell quality hull brands. These include Formosa plate alloy boats, SeaJay aluminium, Tournament fibreglass and the US based Cobalt and Glastron brands.

While having the right hull brands with Yamaha on the transom is a key part of the success formula, JD’s Boatshed is one of the new era of marine dealers bringing heightened standards of presentation and customer service to the marine business.

The JD’s Boatshed premise is situated on a busy main road. Inside the premises, boats are displayed in an expansive undercover ‘boat shed’ showroom.

“Our customers are primarily attracted by our boat-motor-trailer packages,” James Souvleris said. “Having Yamaha gives us an edge. This is a premium quality brand at market competitive prices. We are really excited about the future.”

JD’s Boatshed is also focussed on customers looking to re-power their boats and those chasing a new portable engine. In the southern suburbs of Sydney, there are thousands of local boating families who enjoy Botany Bay, Port Hacking, the Georges River and blue water, offshore boating.

These boaters invariably are looking to repower their boat after years of boating enjoyment.    With Yamaha now at JD’s Boatshed, customers have more choice than ever before, with Yamaha 2 stroke and 4 stroke technology choices from 2hp to 350hp.

Spread through the dealership is also a complete array of pre-delivered Yamaha 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboards.

It doesn’t get any better. And to make re-powering even easier, JD’s Boatshed is authorised to assist customers with Yamaha Motor Finance and Yamaha Marine Insurance. It’s the complete Yamaha package.

“JD’s Boatshed is an excellent dealer to stock and sell the Yamaha brand,” said Brett Hampson, National Sales Manager for Yamaha Outboards.

“This is a high calibre dealer that is genuinely customer oriented. We look forward to a bright future together and many more happy Yamaha customers.”

Yamaha outboards are available through an Australia-wide network of authorised Yamaha outboard dealers. All Yamaha 4-stroke outboards are supported with a full 4-year manufacturer’s warranty and all 2-stroke outboards are backed by a 3 year warranty – standard conditions apply.
