In Racing we aim to assist you to get into the silverware at the end of the regatta. The team achieves this by sitting down with clients, clarifying their racing goals and then sourcing the right boat and race package to achieve that goal.

For our Cruising Clients we aim to provide the best advice and assist our clients to customise their yachts with the most competitively priced options to meet their requirements.

Our clients and yachts that we have campaigned have won 7 of the last 12 Hamilton Island Race Weeks and have represented Australia at many International regattas.

Over the last 30 years Ron Jacobs has project managed winners in classes ranging from Ocean Racers though to 11 meter One Designs. This success story isn't exclusively about new boats as Performance Boating Services also offers a brokerage list of top performing, second hand racing and cruiser/racing yachts to suit all types of budgets.

Having Jointly secured the Jeanneau Representation for NSW, Lee Condell joined with Ron as an equal partner in the business in January 2002 having spent 12 months heading performance boat sales for Ancasta, the biggest yacht brokerage in Europe. Lee sailed his own boat from Sydney to the UK during '99/'00 covering 20,000 miles. Prior to that he ran his own performance brokerage and project management business throughout Asia and had previously managed the original Bashford factory (now Sydney Yachts) and worked with Ian Bashford to develop that companies export boat building business.

The business is very involved in doing total yacht project management from new boat builds to optimisation, refit and maintenance. Performance Boating have been involved in numerous successful optimisations, new boat builds and production development. The Sydney 38 OD,36 CR, 39CR & 47 CR Range are some of the production yacht developments that had significant input from our company.

Since taking on the Jeanneau agency 6 years ago we have established this International brand as one of the premiere yacht brands in New South Wales accounting for some 22 - 25 New Jeanneau`s per annum. Having taken a proven brand and provided our clients with exceptional value and service to ensure that they enjoy their time on their yachts to the maximum.

Adam Workman joined the company in the role as Service Manager in 2004 to help ensure that our clients are looked after through the commissioning stage of new boats, after sales and warranty service on new yachts, and general service on brokerage yachts.
