The 5.7 MPI Tow Sports inboard is built to deliver knock-out torque with uncompromised reliability. Like all the Multiport Injection (MPI) engines from MerCruiser, the 5.7 MPI is designed to tow skiers and riders all day long on easy?to-find and affordable 87 octane fuel. The 5.7 MPI also delivers a host of friendly features such as remote oil filters, easy oil drain systems and optional single-point water drain systems to maximize your time on and off the water. In addition, the 5.7 MPI is available in an EC, or Emissions Control version, certified to the state of California 4-Star Super-Ultra Low Emissions level. EC models utilize state-of-the-art marine-specific catalytic converters and an ultra-powerful ignition and fuel control system that monitors vital engine systems and environmental inputs, adjusting to consistently produce maximum power with minimum exhaust emissions.
