WHAT MAKES A REAL ZODIAC?
Inflatable keel, partially recessed valves, full length floorboard are the signs of a real Zodiac, the world leader, whose major characteristics have often been copied.

TOWING RINGS - Oversized, stainless steel, towing rings capable of withstanding pulling forces of up to 1/2 ton, correctly positioned for efficient towing using a system.

INFLATABLE KEEL - Zodiac invention. This additional air chamber between the floor and the bottom creates a V-shaped hull giving secure, comfortable handling.

SEMI-RECESSED VALVE - Patented by Zodiac. Provides quick inflation/deflation, allows easy adjustment of the pressure and is doubly airtight.

INTERNAL BULKHEAD - Totally sealing one compartment from the other, its conical floating shape equalises the pressure in the buoyancy tubes.

FLOOR WITH RAIL SYSTEM - Designed for fast easy assembly and strengthened by stringers, this aluminium framed floor features an integrated rail system, exclusive to Zodiac, which allows the fitting of accessories and the tying down of equipment.

CARRYING HANDLES - Ergonomically designed to allow a good comfortable grip, these handles are positioned in carefully studied places to make carrying easier.

SELF-BAILER - Using a non-return diaphragm system, simply remove the plug or turn on the lever any water inside the boat is quickly evacuated.

RUBBING STRAKES - Efficiently protect one heavily used zone of the boat, Zodiac is the only manufacturer to have perfected the fitting of rubbing strakes by a welding procedure. The majority of Zodiac boats benefit from this system.

MARINE PLY TRANSOM - Carrying the weight of the motor and the large forces and vibrations it generates, the transom is designed to cope with extreme stresses.

REINFORCED CONE ENDS - Efficiently protect one heavily attacked zone of the boat.

THE REMOVABLE TUBE SYSTEM - Invented by Zodiac and available on most of Zodiac's RIB models, allows the tubes to be entirely removable. The tube can be disassembled and folded for maintenance, repair, storage and transportation.

THERMOBONDING - a Zodiac exclusive - Imported from aeronautical techniques, our industrial, robotised thermobonding process guarantees a constant level of quality as well as precision and maximum durability.

CONSTANT TESTING - We pride ourselves on the safety and reliability of our boats. The toughness of the raw materials, the air tightness and tear resistance of the welds are checked by a full range of tests that surpass the levels to which you can expose your boat. The fabrics are also tested for several years before they are allowed into our production cycle. For the ultimate assurance of reliability, every range is constantly tested in real life situations, in all weather conditions and with all types of loads.
