The Game Has Changed … Alufibre enters Australasia

Brand new in Australia are the latest European Alufibre boats. Manufactured by Silver, out of Ahtari in Finland, Australasian export rights have been awarded to Sydney based Scandinavian Boat Imports. Silver are a market leader in Europe, with 39 dealers in Finland, 7 importers across the rest of the continent and with annual sales of well over 2500 units.

The boats themselves are a ‘best of both worlds’ combination, with a sturdy 4mm aluminium hull and a stylish, fully moulded fiberglass interior. The boats have a double aluminium hull pumped full of polyurethane which gives them a very soft and very quiet ride through swell and makes them unsinkable. Stunning European design and styling with the very best of EU safety standards make this a desirable boat for sports enthusiasts, anglers and those just ‘messing about on the water’. They are easily converted from a day cruiser to a fishing boat by simply removing the cushions and attaching rod holders. With its seamless glass interior and self draining cockpit the mess from a great day out is easy to clean, simply wash down with water.

The range has been introduced via the 5.4m Hawk and the 5.8m Shark, both will be available in a centre or double console. Features on both boats include amongst others: Rated for 7 adults, hydraulic steering (Shark 580) fully padded bucket seats, complete seat padding, stainless steel grab rails, ample fuel tanks, excellent storage and a wide range of optional fishing gear. SBI plan to extend the range with the addition of a 6.5m walk-around model for the keen angler, and the elegant day-cruiser 730 Condor. The boats conform to European Union safety standards with level flotation standard across the range.

First demonstrator boats are in Sydney and had a very successful Sydney boat show, and are available for testing by interested members of the public.
